COVID-19 has affected the life of every human being on the planet.

Canada is no different, and we, as a nation and a community, are striving together to fight off this pandemic.

Millions of Canadians have suddenly lost their jobs and livelihoods, whether it be as a result of being sick, having to care for their children at home, or businesses deemed non-essential shutting down. Many struggle to meet their basic needs such as food. And for this, they need your help.

I-D Foods is the largest Canadian distributor of specialty foods, and, in this time of crisis, is deemed an essential service. Our team is so grateful, and for this reason, we wish to give back to the community.

For years now, I-D Foods has been donating products to local food banks in Montreal and Calgary, and we have made the decision to immediately and substantially increase our food donations.

What’s more, we have set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for our employees who wish to make a personal financial contribution, as well as anyone else wanting to lend a helping hand.

ANY DONATION WILL HELP MAKE AN IMPACT. Our goal is $50,000 !

DONATE NOW

I-D Foods also commits to matching the contributions made to a maximum of $20 000.

All funds will be directly donated to Food Banks Canada who will redistribute them to various food bank activities across the country. Food Banks Canada works with fantastic organizations, which should absolutely be supported at this time.

Finally, we wish to acknowledge the hard work of our team members in these unprecedented and less-than-optimal working conditions, and thank them for their support and commitment.

We thank the health care workers in the front lines of the pandemic for their courage and dedication. Our hearts go out to all those in need, affected by the virus or facing financial difficulties.

Everything will be ok.
